Venator have focussed on particle size distribution and surface treatment of their grades to optimise the ease of dispersion, stability of dispersion, opacity, finish and abrasion of their products. They have created one of the best ink portfolios in the world. Products include; RDIS, optimised for gloss/opacity ratio and a dream to disperse; RDE2, the most opaque white pigment on the market for reverse/lamination inks; RDDI, for low abrasive matte inks; A300, for UV cured inks; and Sachtolith HDS for LED cured inks.
Organik Kimya have a range of binders for textile inks, all of which are MIT free. A good portion of these products are completely formaldehyde free as well, for low sensitivity and hazard free products.
Dymax have an extensive range of oligomers for UV cured ink applications. For products in which low viscosity is key the Dendritic range is a great way to increase the average functionality of the ink whilst keeping viscosity low. This will increase cure rate, improve toughness, and potentially save you some money on your photo initiator package.
